The Place to watch - "Deoriatal".

Introduction: From Haridwar we went to Ukhimath and from there to Sarigram by Car. Deoriatal is 3 km from Sarigram.

Previous night we spent at Tunganath and in the morning we tracked to Chandrashila Peak to see the sunrise. Having breakfast at Tunganath we went down Chopta and got into car. Today our destination is Ukhimath, so we decided to visit Deoriatal. My mind was not ready to leave Chopta as such a beautiful valley i had not seen in Gadoal. We stopped at Dogalvita to see the whole Himalayan range and from there we went to Sarigram. From Sarigram, Deoriatal is only 3 km walking distance. Sarigram is a small village. At the of the village, there is a beautiful Shiva temple. Below us in the slope of the hill every where is greenery as nature has laid a green carpet. There is a walking way to go up through the village to reach the temple. The Shiva temple is built according to Kedarnath temple.

Deoriatal

Half a km up there is the view point to take rest and to watch beau ti  of Sharigram. After that there is a slight up-wards way. We moved forward enjoying the nature and suddenly the way was divided into two, but of the ways met in the same place - "Deoriatal".

Deoriatal

It was my love at first side. Every where is forest, greenery and the atmosphere is cool, calm. In the northern side there are few benches for the travelers. Forest department camp is situated here. We rested on the grass carpet. We were in no hurry and moving slightly we faced towards north. The sky is blue and front of us is "Deoriatal". Behind us there is Chaukhamba Peak. I hard before that to see the reflection of Chaukhamba in water Deoriatal seems to be a large mirror. The lake is like a heaven to the bird watchers. So far from hue and cry and such a natural beauty all around - In the heaven in fact.

Deoriatal

It is so sad that the divine souls use to come to bath here and so is the Lake's name. Another opinion is that a Yogi named Deoria use to worship here and so the name formed. The name is very correct as such a place can always be for worshiping. Now it is time to return to Ukhimath but it seemed to me that I had gun Bhukhhartal rule several times but such a heavenly place was beyond my visit.

The Bay Gardens in Singapore.

Introduction: A 'garden city' with rapidly emerging concrete jungles, night life, star cruises and sky scrapers was transmuted to a 'city in a garden' with the magnificent fabrication of the 'Gardens by the Bay' in Singapore. This enormous man-made architecture has the blend of nature and human power to its sublime finesse. The garden was an initiative step of the Singapore Government towards changing the eminence of life in the metal city by incorporating flora and greenery into it. It is like an Eco Park which is currently a favourite hub for the event planners. The breathtaking spectacle of the garden is attracting tourists from all over the world too.

The categorically divided three waterfront gardens here. The Bay East Garden spreads over 32 acres of land which glorifies the Marina Reservoir with a 2 km esplanade facade. It has gracious design of tropical leaves in series, wherein every leaf has different themes owing to assorted landscapes and characters. The Bay South Garden is the largest amongst the tree gardens, with an area 130 acres. It is a man-made wonder which exhibits garden-artistry at its peak. It puts forward an entirely dazzling and chromatic saga of an orchid starting with the roots or the conservatories, to the shoots or the link ways, then the secondary roots with various communicative lines of water and energy, and then finally emerging out with full blossoms of super-trees and theme-garden. The conservatories have two parts, viz, flower-dome and the cloud-forest with significant corners of interests like Monkey Puzzle, Secret Garden and Cloud Mountain among others. The sky scraping super trees with heights between 81 to 164 are notably so spectacular that it could compel one to feel like being landed up in a different planet. The tallest super-tree in the slot has the world's first ever rotating rooftop bar and restaurant from which a majestic view of the Marina can be snagged. The third Garden is in the Central Bay which is yet to be fully completed. Once completed, it would provide a link from the Bay South to Bay East Garden. It covers 37 acres and has a 3 km pathway that offers stunning views over a saunter.

All these gardens are manipulated by taking into account several nature-conserving plots. For example a lake system in the park acts as natural Eco filter that cleanses the water by using several aquatic plants. There are several bus services to access the Garden and it is indeed a pleasant visit during a trip to Singapore.

It was constructed a little prior to 1652 AD by the aristocratic Garzoni family in Collodi of Lucca in Italy. It is an aqua garden conceptualized at the base of banistered terraces. Adaptations have been made through frescoes or Rococo styles that bear testimony to the inconceivable artistic minds that had abilities to move anyone with their designing capabilities. There are beautiful caves, theatres made of boxwood hedges and circular ponds over a flat platform with fanciful topiary work. The mind will be naturally frezied to recognize the mysteries of he maze in these gardens that gave shelter to lovers who often took the vows of marriage hoping about good fortune in their lives. There are figures of mythical creatures called satyrs with statues of Pan and Flora. A climb to the terraces reveal the magnanimity of the waterfall from the staircase with the figure of fame at the foremost peak blowing a conch like thing that gushes out water from a great height. The hydraulic systems that supply water for the water fountains are supported by two staircases that invite a visitor to view the garden from above. The staircases are instances of beautiful mosaics with niches made of clay. In the nymphaeum there are statues of Neptune and Tritons. In the second tier of the staircase the statue of promona can be visualized who maintains a vigil over the garden. All these are surrounded by dense greenery with many paths. Two of these paths lead to the Bomboo groves.

Cosmic Speculation Garden in Scotland.

Introduction: Garden of Cosmic Speculation located in Scotland is a one-of-its-kind garden, and is celebration of human beings' place in the universe. Visitors are spellbound by its sheer unconventionality. It was designed and created by famous architectural critic and designer Charles Jencks and his wife Maggie Keswick. The garden is one of the most authentic and significant developments of modern era. Traditional and modern philosophies of nature and science have been quite remarkably combined with sculptures, architecture and landscapes here. This garden is conceived as a place to explore and contemplate on certain fundamental aspects of the universe.

Spread over an area of about thirty acres, the garden focuses on the use of nature to celebrate nature, both rationally and through the senses, including the sense of humour. Concepts of black holes, string theory and the well known 'Big Bang' theory, are landscaped with utter honour and magnificence. Inspired by Chinese garden philosophy, the entire arena has five major parts which are linked by man-made water bodies, bridges, Scottish hills, huge white staircases, terraces, several architectural works staging the dawn of the universe and a series of landforms and lakes recalling fractal geometry. Unlike other gardens, horticultural displays are not the primary aspects here. The designers have remarkably combined traditional and modern philosophies pertaining to nature and science with all the sculptures, architecture and landscapes to create a garden which is magnificent, majestic, mysterious and intriguing.

Among various other interesting aspects here is a beautiful and powerful staircase called the Universe of Cascade. As you leisurely climb the stairs, you will be delighted to come across utterly beautiful and mystifying items for you to simply sit on and contemplate at each level. In the garden one also comes across an interesting red spiral bridge called Heaven-Hell.

It is an absolutely fascinating garden, but due to lack of funding, is open for only five hours on the first Sunday of May every year. It is South Western border area of Scotland close to Dumfries footing in the private residential grounds of port-rack House.
